As the name implies, it has a distinctive red tail. It is the Goldman Sachs of the catfish family because every bit of it such as nutritional values, taste, and texture is better than the normal catfish species. Redtail tastes much fattier and milkier than normal catfish which is comparable to cod fish. Moreover, it prefers living in streams and rivers that have fast-moving water unlike normal catfish. Hence, its flesh is also firmer and less flaky.

The advertised weight is gross weight (whole fish weight including guts and scales). Reduction of gross weight is 25% to 50% after cutting depending on the fish type. If you have multiple orders of the same type of fish, we may process the orders based on total weight of fish.

Shelf-Life: Keep frozen up to 6 months

Once order is placed & confirmed, the fish will be caught and cleaned, then vacuum packed ready for packing!
